Wings Of An Angel - My Poetry
Wings Of An Angel
I wrote this poem to go with an incentive book I've written for abused children. I hope it will read like an old fashioned bedtime story, once I have it published, giving incentive and strength to those who have been hurt. I wanted to help children see that all they have to do is look inside themselves and they can realize their dreams after all.
I would also like to dedicate this poem to Pres Romanillos, a one time wonderful artist for Disney who had drawn or worked on characters in many of your favorite children's movies. Pres was my inspiration to write both the book and the poem. Pres is now an Angel himself after losing a battle with cancer. May he rest in peace!
Here is the poem: Wings Of An Angel
Like an Angel spreading wings
Life unfolds to the mysteries the world holds for man.
Seconds, minutes, days, years into eons...
All captivating, full of wonder and woe.
Lifes trials and tribulations lead man to open his soul.
Searching, gathering wisdom, learning all that is good.
Spiraling, soaring at peace with oneself and life in itself.
Yearning the trancendence in life, always yearning!
Mysteries hold all that is evil too.
Nothing is learned with a closed heart and soul.
Unrest, emptiness, dragging down of spirit, no lightness to be found.
But to seek the answers with open heart and soul...
Spreading, lifting, loving, keeping all that is good sacred.
To be passed on thru the seconds, minutes, days, years, into eons held precious.
A journey as peaceful to the soul as being wrapped in the comfort of...

Just Enjoy This Moment
I was in Daytona and an airplane was flying overhead writing in the sky. I took a picture of it and this is what they wrote.
Another Moment
What A Sunset!
This picture was taken from my back door looking toward the Gulf Of Mexico from central Florida's west coast. It is untouched by any photo editing program. The colors in the sky are awesome.
